Hotel Advance is a great value four-star in Barcelona's Eixample district. It lies close to the historic neighbourhoods of El Raval, Barrio Gotico and Borne and is surrounded by a wealth of the city's must-sees. Las Ramblas, Plaça Catalunya and the Passeig de Gràcia are all within walking distance. The style here is clean-lined and contemporary; all in all, it makes a great base for both business and leisure travellers.

The facilities

Plenty of key facilities here. Breakfast is provided each morning and room service runs until 11:00 pm, but there's no restaurant, so be sure to ask staff for recommendations. There's a computer corner in the lobby (around EUR1 for fifteen minutes) and free wifi throughout.

The rooms

Each of Hotel Advance's 36 guestrooms shares the same modern, fresh design as its communal areas. All are equipped with flat screen televisions, a minibar, safe, balcony and air conditioning. The better ones boast private terraces, great for making the most of those city views.
