Numerous excursions are available to explore the area's rich abundance of wildlife such as trips to: Cango Wildlife Ranch, Ostrich Farms and Monkey Land.

Children
Hunter’s Country House is a family-run establishment and as such ensures that children have an equally enjoyable visit as their parents. There is a private recreation area for children with a child-friendly shallow swimming pool and an outdoor thatch-covered sandpit which provides the perfect shady play area. The Pumba’s Garden is also open daily offering high standards of child day-care which can also be extended into evening hours when required.

The gourmet cuisine on offer at Hunter’s Country House replicates the rich and exciting flavours of South African regional dishes. The highlight of the Hunter’s candle-lit dining experience is the abundant variety of exceptional Cape wines, ranging from Auctioned wines to fine Estate favourites, all housed in the hotel’s own fully stocked cellar.
