Originally a private home, this Johannesburg design hotel offers 10 chic, individually designed suites and luxurious facilities. Located in Dunkeld West between Sandton and Rosebank, Ten Bompas can transfer guests to all top city locations including shopping centres, business districts and airports.
The facilities
Sides restaurant has been voted among the top ten in South Africa, serving unfussy South African cuisine with lots of fresh produce. A state of the art wine cellar overlooks the outdoor swimming pool.
Great for business travelers as well as savvy sightseers, the hotel's Boardroom can accommodate gatherings of 12. Meetings packages include refreshments, lunch at Sides and AV equipment.
The rooms
10 suites, each decorated by a different interior designer, open onto private gardens or terraces. African sculptures, art and traditional colour schemes (think yellows, ochres and terracotta) are prominent. All suites have large bedrooms and their own lounge, as well as steam baths in the bathrooms.
