Hotel Slon is a luxury establishment situated in the heart of Ljubljana. The hotel exhibits the modernist architectural design of the 1930s, creating an opulent and glamorous ambience. Hotel Slon boasts two eateries and a central location where shops are in the immediate vicinity and several of the city's sights and attractions are close by including Ljubljana Castle, Tivoli Park, Old Town and the main market square.

The facilities

The facilities here are fairly limited although Hotel Slon does offer a roof top relaxation zone. The zone is comprised of a Finnish sauna, perfect after a workout, and the fitness corner. Guests have a choice of restaurants whether you want a sumptuous dinner or some light snacks. The Confectionary Star sells cakes etc. which is rather delightful.

The rooms

There are 168 rooms across 5 floors, ranging in size and price, all feature contemporary décor and parquet flooring. The deluxe suites have bath tubs (some of which are Jacuzzis) and balconies which overlook Tivoli Park. However, all rooms are equipped with an LCD TV, free WIFI, mini bar and private bathroom with shower.
