Hotel Overview
Come and experience the city of Lisbon with the ease and grace of the Palacio Belmonte, located at the edge of the St George's Castle on the Alfama hill, in the centre of the historical city. A graceful, secluded boutique hotel restored from a 15th century palace, the Palacio offers excellent views of the historical city from broad terraces, and a friendly and knowledgeable staff that welcomes guests to explore the unknown and indulge in the city's rich cultural heritage, including excellent local restaurants and enchanting walks.
The facilities
The hotel boasts a peaceful, chic Mediterranean garden and a library with over 4,000 books, publications and papers in a variety of languages and topics including ecology, sustainable development and philosophy. Guests can also find genuine letters from Portuguese Kings, discovered during the palace's restoration.
The rooms
Each of the rooms is individually designed; some are spare and elegant, others flashy and vibrant. All boast excellent views of the historical quarter and plush beds. Some boast rustic fireplaces, some offer gorgeous terraces, and others feature splashy marble bathrooms with sunken tubs and separate showers. All of them, however, evoke the feeling of home.

Children
Children are welcome at the hotel, but there are few family-friendly services. They can provide an extra bed in the suite for young children, and recommend one of the suites with two separate rooms for larger families. A babysitting service is also available for guests.
Eating in
Excellent breakfast policy: whatever you want, wherever you want, whenever you want. Snacks and drinks are available throughout the day but meals are catered exclusively by Portuguese Michelin Star Chef José Avillez.
