Traditional and elegant, it is housed in a restored 18th-century building and was restored by renowned architect Miguel Câncio Martins (also responsible for the Thiou and the Buddha Bar in Paris, the Strictly Hush in London and the Man Ray in New York).

The hotel does not have a restaurant, though there are plentiful options close by; ask staff for recommendations. Room service is 24-hours, there's an Honesty Bar in the library and a small fitness area on site. The hotel's location on Liberdade Avenue is superb, perfect for the best of Lisbon's shopping and sightseeing.
