Murano Resort Marrakech, Marrakech, Morocco
Hotel Overview
Review of Murano Resort Marrakech, by Anne-Charlotte Boutleux
Marrakech's Murano Urban Resort is marked by its very modern buildings and simple, stylish furniture also found at its sister hotel, the Murano Paris. This is a contemporary boutique hotel, though there are a few touches of traditional Moroccan style, like the grand wooden ceilings. The Murano also has a very distinctive blood-red pool, which guests tend to either love or hate.
The facilities
In the main villa of this boutique hotel you will find the reception desk and an a la carte restaurant with delicious food. The pool areas are dotted with lounge chairs and tables, so you can choose to have lunch poolside, on your terrace or under the trees in the newly sculpted garden. The overall feel of this boutique hotel aims for poolside fun. The 'Murano Remix' plays all day long and in the high season there is a DJ bar in the main villa.
The rooms
The 38 rooms at the Murano are decently sized with comfy King sized beds and large pillows. Rooms are split up between villas, which each have a private pool and a private central patio. Each room has a fireplace, TV, mirror, air conditioning/heater, internet and coffee machine.
The rooms come equipped with a Murano bathrobe, slippers and umbrella. Suites are the best option at this boutique hotel- they are on the ground floor and have private terraces. They also have spacious bathrooms and separate dressing rooms, while some suites even have direct access to the pool.

The Press Say
"The focal point of every room, all with high ceilings so even the smallest feel spacious, is an enormous meringue-like bed..." Conde Nast 07"Music is a central theme at this resort hotel, which after dark becomes a glamorous, pulsating nightspot...Long white leather sofas and an enormous white Murano chandelier set the vibe."
