Hotel Overview
Las Alamandas Resort is a blissful boutique resort on Jalisco's Costalegre coast. Exclusive, with out-of-this-world levels of service, Las Alamandas only admits up to 42 people at a time for maximum pampering per guest. Once there, enjoy the colourful decor and explore the coastline by horseback, mountain bike, snorkelling or boat.
The facilities
This five-star hideaway has plenty on offer. Gourmet restaurant Oasis is surrounded by palm trees and overlooks the ocean, and the menu changes daily (seafood is always fresh-caught most fruit and veg is organic and home-grown). Head to the open-sky lounge bar Estrella Azul for a cocktail afterwards. There's plenty more opportunities to relax in the day, with four private beaches, freshwater outdoor pool and art gallery dotted around the site.
The rooms
There are seven secluded villas with 16 rooms between them. Inside, traditional Mexican design sits nicely against modern minimalist touches, and all villas have hand-painted Mexican tiled bathrooms with oversized tubs. Sumptuous private terraces, lush gardens perfect for sunbathing and well-stocked minibars complete the picture.

The resort welcomes children. Connecting rooms are available in some villas, there are babysitting and childcare services and the restaurant is child-friendly, with high-chairs and a special children's menu. There's also a kids' club, complete with a playground and organised activities.

Oasis Restaurant serves its wide-ranging cuisine on a chic terrace overlooking the gardens. From Mexican to American fusion to sushi, all the ingredients are free range and freshly caught.
