Heritage The Villas are a collection of luxury villas set in a vast expanse of landscaped grounds, nestled between a pristine lagoon and the mountains of southwestern Mauritius. A 40 minute drive from the airport, the elegant gated community is part of the Domaine de Bel Ombre, encompassing the majestic Chateau de Bel Ombre, dating back to the 1800s, an 18-hole championship golf course, white sandy beaches and views of the crystal clear waters of the Indian Occean.

The facilities

The warm surroundings of the landscaped gardens provide a welcome sense of privacy. Read on a lounge chair under the gazebo or enjoy the large infinity swimming pool. Guests of Heritage The Villas can access the facilities of the neighbouring resorts, including floodlit tennis courts, mountain biking, and a host of water sports. Designed by Peter Matkovitch, the par 72, 205 acre championship golf course has wide, undulating fairways carved through a sugar cane plantation and lies between the volcanic mountains and the turquoise blue sea. There are abundant dining options throughout the Domine de Bel Ombre, in addition to in-villa dining with personal service and private chefs.

The Villas

There are four styles of villas to choose from, ranging from spacious three bedroom villas to four bedroom villas up to 400 square metres. Built with excellent quality finishes, the villas have air-conditioned master bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, infinity pools, large verandas, modern conveniences and landscaped tropical gardens.
