The Taj Exotica Resort & Spa is a sumptuous luxury resort in the Maldives. Brilliantly designed, it is perfectly integrated with the island's natural beauty. Nestled on one of the island's largest lagoons, this romantic retreat is a style-conscious haven of relaxation, peace and tranquillity.
The facilities
The Jiva Spa is absolute heaven, staffed with Ayurvedic specialists and a lengthy treatment menu. There's a choice of restaurants, from elegant fine dining at The Deep End to laid back pan-Asian at 24 Degrees. Staff are happy to arrange private island dining for those special occasions. There's also a freshwater infinity pool, a water sports and diving centre, plus plentiful sporting activities to choose from.
The rooms
Sixty-two palm-thatched villas - most over water - make up the Taj Exotica Resort & Spa.All are beautifully appointed, raised on stilts over the water with sumptuous marble bathrooms. The better ones boast private pools - and in the case of the Rehendhi Suite its own mini beach - but all are spacious and elegant, with sweeping views of the Indian Ocean or the lagoon.
