The main restaurant serves a range of cuisines, from traditional Indian to Continental. There's an outdoor swimming pool (plus a designated kid's pool), a sumptuous spa and a range of sporting activities to choose from, including beach volleyball, cycling and squash. Staff can arrange excursions such as island hopping around Langkawi, jungle trekking and romantic yacht cruises.
The rooms
Each of Rebak Island Resort by Taj's 82 villas are generous in size, with either garden or sea views. Shaded by palm trees, all have private balconies, flat screen televisions and DVD players as standard.

The hotel welcomes children, though the atmosphere is more romantic retreat that family hotel. That said, activities are provided for little ones and there's a selection of child-friendly DVDs available, as well as a designated kid's pool.
Eating in
The main restaurant, Senari, provides a choice of cuisines including Indian, Chinese and Continental. The Pool Bar is the place to head for light meals and snacks, and staff are happy to arrange private dining for romancing couples.
