Half Moon is a luxury hotel that sits amid 400 acres of tropical landscape on Jamaica's northern coastline. The facilities

Activities at Half Moon are plentiful and include tennis, squash courts and a fitness centre. Guests can also take a swim in one of the 51 pools on site, or go horseback riding in the surf, play a round of golf, or even swim with dolphins. However, if you fancying something more tranquil, spend some time at the Fern Tree Spa which includes aromatherapy steam rooms and a yoga pavilion.

The rooms

The Georgian style building has 45 guest rooms, 152 suites and 33 villas, all of which are individually decorated. The Deluxe Suite is recommended for families as it's rather spacious (split across two levels) and comes with its own kitchen/living area. Alternatively you could opt for one of the Hibiscus Suites with their plantation-style décor and balcony sea-views. Our top tip?
