This sleek design hotel oozes Italian sophistication in the Eternal City. Attracting a young and glitzy crowd, the Radisson Blu es. Hotel is styled with attitude: think fluorescent pink and ultra white rooms, two glamorous rooftop pools and fabulous restaurants to see and be seen in. Right beside Termini Train station, it's only four stops by metro to the Spanish steps and an equally short way to Fiumicino Airport.
The facilities
The hotel caters to its high-flying clientele with free internet throughout and an urban spa. Situated on the 7th floor, it boasts a technogym, sauna and Jacuzzi. There are two rooftop pools areas, perfect for lounging in the summer months; decamp to the rooftop restaurants when you need to refuel.
The rooms
In keeping with the stylish atmosphere, the Radisson Blu's 169 rooms come in two design styles. 'Zattera' rooms are inspired by the 'rafts' in Robinson Crusoe, and Elle by the letter 'L'. Whatever the concept, all are spacious, open-plan and have free broadband and individual climate control.

Children
Children are welcome at the hotel but kept at a safe distance from the in-crowd, with a separate pool area for splashing around.
Eating in
Zest caters for the fashionably thin, serving light lunches and aperitifs overlooking the rooftops of Rome. Sette is a more gourmet option with beef filet and swordfish getting the gastronomic treatment.
