The Splendido is a Liguria seaside retreat nestled on the coastline of Portofino in Italy. It is a private establishment hidden amidst the coastal woodlands, reflecting the elegant charm of the surrounding Riviera. Portofino itself is a small picturesque Italian fishing village, and as such carries a characteristically laid back atmosphere. If you decide to leave the four walls of Hotel Splendido there are numerous boat rides, perfect for sunbathing on deck and enjoying the beauty of the coastal landscape.
The facilities
Facilities here are plentiful as befits its glamorous reputation. Guests can enjoy the heated salt-water pool, or relax in the hotel's infinity pool. For more active guests there is also an all-weather tennis court and a fully facilitated gym that hosts views of the Riviera. The Wellness Centre is also open for numerous treatments including massages in the hotel's beautiful gardens.

Each of the Splendido's 64 rooms is charming and elegantly furnished. Some rooms have their own private balconies with views over the harbor, while all rooms epitomise luxury with designer toiletries and bathrobes being supplied in all ensuite bathrooms.
