Hotel Overview
Built in 1882, the Grand Hotel Vesuvio is centrally located on the waterfront, overlooking Santa Lucia Harbor and the Bay of Naples. It is an old-school grande dame, of Belle Epoch fittings and impeccable staff. Recently renovated, the hotel is kitted out with all mod cons, but luckily this has not compromised on the charming atmosphere.
The facilities
The Caruso Restaurant is located on the top floor, and as such enjoys great views across the Bay of Naples. The adjoining terrace is a fantastic spot for al fresco summer dining. There's also the ultra-chic Vesuvietta Bar for evening cocktails accompanied by piano music. A fitness centre has been added too, that includes a gym, sauna, Turkish bath and massage.

Each of the 165 rooms are traditional in style, with no shortage of luxurious fittings - and all are spacious by anyone's standards.
