Hotel Overview
Universo Hotel is a traditional establishment located in the heart of the city. The hotel is one of the historical monuments of 19th-century Lucca, perfectly situated amongst some of the city's prominent sights: the 18th-century theatre lies opposite, as does the Ducal Palace. Lucca is a rather busy city with festivals and various markets, from antiques to food, taking place monthly.
The facilities
The facilities here are limited but the hotel does boast 2 eateries and an ideal central location. Universo also offers a "green room", elegantly decorated, for up to 20 people, so whether your stay is for business or pleasure the hotel can cater for all your needs.
The rooms
There are 56 rooms each individually decorated. The Comfort rooms feature traditional décor and classic styles where as the deluxe rooms have a more contemporary flair. The suites are a mixture of old and new design. All rooms come with a Cathedral or tree-lined Piazza Napoleone view and are equipped with air conditioning, TV, WIFI internet access, min bar and en suite bathroom with shower and/or tub.
