Grand Hotel Imperiale is a traditional lakeside hotel, built in the 'Belle Epoch' style. It may not have the landmark status of some of its more famous neighbours, but if you want gorgeous Como views without breaking the bank, then this may well be the place for you.

The facilities

The restaurant, Imperialino, is a formal and refining dining space, of traditional charms. It offers some of the best views on the site, regional Italian cuisine and themed poolside buffets during warmer weather. It's caters for business lunches and takes orders for banquets, too. For a more informal dining experience, try The Garden Restaurant, a laid-back Mediterranean affair that overlooks the garden.

The rooms

Each of the Imperiale's 92 guest rooms is classical in style, in keeping with the rest of the property. Most have a private balcony, and all provide air-conditioning, a well-stocked mini bar and cable television. Wheelchair accessible rooms are available on request.
