Villa Mangiacane rests in the heart of a Tuscan wine and olive estate, just 12kms outside of Florence. The villa itself dates back to the 15th-century, and was built by the Machiavelli family. It is a place for rest, relaxation and the sampling of fine wines; this is the Chianti region, after all.

The private estate produces three award-winning wines and a distinctive olive oil, all of which can be tasted by guests. There's also a spa, three swimming pools and acres of beautifully manicured lawns to wander about in. If you fancy a trip in to Florence, the hotel offers a complimentary daily shuttle service to the city and back.
