Residenza d'Epoca Palazzo Galletti is a small and stylish boutique B&B in Florence. It boasts a meticulously restored, historical interior and a great location for sightseeing. The Duomo and Santa Croce Church are just a short walk away, and there's a wealth of restaurants and bars in the surrounding streets. The hotel dates back, in parts, to the 16th-century, and has been furnished in a simple, Neoclassical style.

The facilities

No restaurant, but a good breakfast spread is provided in the 16th-century kitchen/dining room each morning. There's a chic internal courtyard, that's perfect for escaping the bustle of the city; many rooms open out onto it, which is a nice touch.

The rooms

Each of Palazzo Galletti's 11 guestrooms are spacious and refined, all with original artworks, 17th and 19th-century antiques, beautiful frescoes and modern touches. All have king-size beds, flat screen televisions, DVD players and a nightly turndown service. Internet connection can be provided, for an additional charge. Some rooms have private balconies.
