Hotel Overview
Arion Resort and Spa is a polished luxury hotel that overlooks the Saronic Gulf. Set just outside Athens (25 kms from the city centre and airport), the hotel lies close to the exclusive shopping district and elite shopping spot of Glyfada; the residential district of many an Athenian millionaire.
The facilities
Plentiful, as befits its five-star status. There's a huge variety of restaurants, ranging from Matsuhisa's Japanese cuisine to the more Mediterranean offerings of The Grill Room. And of course, there's contemporary Greek in Taverna 37.
The spa area is extensive, with a fully kitted-out fitness centre, indoor heated pool, volleyball and tennis courts and a mini football field sitting alongside the treatment rooms, sauna and steam rooms. There's even a heliport, for those that need it.
