Bayerischer Hof, Munich, Germany
Bayerischer Hof 5 Stars
“Stately and serene, this contemporary grand dame on Promenadeplatz is a lavish haven in the midst of a bustling nightlife scene.”
Hotel Overview
Once the largest hotel in Europe, Bayerischer Hof resides in an elegant 19th-century mansion block in the heart of Munich. High standards of service and classic interiors keep it popular with the luxury-loving set today.
The facilities
Three restaurants keep even the most demanding palates satisfied. Head to the Mediterranean Garden for delicate Med fare in the beautiful winter garden or on the summer terrace. Elsewhere, Palais Keller offers traditional Bavarian cuisine while Trader Vic's serves up Polynesian treats.
Six bars mean you don't even have to step outside for a good night out. Falk's bar is the funkiest, and the Night Club is a Munich legend with live bands often playing. If you fancy a naughty indulgence after a treatment at the Blue Spa, sample a fruity cocktail at its very own Bar & Lounge.
In addition to this, 40 banquet and conference suites can accommodate up to 1,400 people for private functions.
The rooms
There are 373 guestrooms, 60 of which are suites. Decor comes in a range of styles, from modern-luxe to Laura Ashley chintz - some have four poster beds and all have access to free Wi-Fi.
