The arty four star Hotel Garonne is a one story hotel in the heart of Toulouse's Old Town, in the south-west of France. In close proximity to the River Garonne and the Pont Neuf Bridge, the hotel is in a great spot from which to enjoy the city's attractions. The pink terracotta facade is charming and in keeping with Toulouse reputation as the Ville Rose (the Pink City).

The facilities

Complimentary newspapers are available in the hotel lobby and there is a tour desk for anyone needs information on the local sites and excursions. The front desk is manned 24 hours and staff are always very helpful. Continental breakfast is available and there is a small bar/lounge as well. The rooms

The Hotel Garonne's 14 rooms are a fusion of Italian, African and Oriental designs in deep reds, oranges and dark oak. Well-designed hallways lead to comfortable rooms that are perfectly styled from head to toe. Simple two tone patterned curtains hang from large windows whilst snug looking beds fashion matching bed spreads. The bamboo that sits in vases on the dark wood tables is a nice touch and the tinted oak parquet flooring oozes sophistication and class. Splashes of colour appear in fabrics and on walls brightening the earthy tones.
