Tiara Miramar Beach Hotel is an elegant four-star hotel, situated just outside the centre of Cannes. With sweeping views of the Mediterranean Sea and plentiful amenities, it's a great choice for leisure travellers and is well set up for families (children under 12 stay for free). Cannes itself is 20-minutes away, and is most easily accessible by taxi.

The facilities

Plentiful, as befits its four-star status. The restaurant, l'Etoile des Mers, is the star of the show, boasting sweeping views of the hotel's private beach-front. Cuisine is Mediterranean and high-end, but there's a more relaxed eatery, the Red Roc, that opens during the summer season. There's also a swimming pool (covered and heated in winter), sauna, hammam, Jacuzzi, tennis courts (free of charge) and a spa on-site.

The rooms

Each of the Tiara Miramar Beach Hotel's 56 rooms shares the same classic, elegant design as the communal areas. All are well-appointed, with air-conditioning, a minibar, private safe, nightly turn down and wifi (for an extra charge). Paying extra for a room with a balcony is well worth it, to make the most of those sweeping sea views.
