Hotel Joyce is a contemporary boutique hotel in central Paris, located just south of the bohemian Pigalle and Montmartre districts. This area is full of elegant bistros, fashion boutiques, bakeries and the famous Montmartre cemetery.

The facilities

Minimal facilities; the focus is really on those young, breezy bedrooms. There's no restaurant, but plenty of options in the surrounding area (do ask staff for recommendations). Room service runs until 2:00 am and a good breakfast spread is provided each morning.

The rooms

Each of Hotel Joyce's 44 bedrooms is individually decorated, with a spring-like palette of pastels and crisp white. All have flat screen televisions, iPod docking stations, air conditioning and private safes; some rooms boast private balconies. Organic toiletries in the bathrooms are a thoughtful touch, as is the complimentary internet (landline only; free wifi is available in the communal areas of the hotel).
