The Hotel François 1er is a traditionally-styled boutique hotel in a very central location; for sightseeing and shopping in Paris you'd be hard pushed to beat it. It's a short walk to the Champs Elysees and the Seine, and the hotel itself is surrounded by myriad shopping boutiques, smart bars and restaurants.
The facilities
Minimal facilities here; the focus is all on those plush, romantic bedrooms. There's a small breakfast room downstairs and a good spread is provided each morning (not included in the room rate). There's also a cosy bar area set just off the marble lobby, perfect for after-dinner drinks.

Designed by architect Pierre Yves Rochon, François 1er's guestrooms share the same lavish decor as its communal areas. All come with flat screen televisions, well-stocked minibars, DVD players and a nightly turndown service.
