BLC Design Hotel is one of a wave of trend-setting boltholes in the French capital. It is a clean-lined confection of white walls and flooring, swathes of polished glass and vases full of sweet-smelling lilies. Certainly not one for the staid and traditional, it is attracting a loyal following for its accommodating staff and central location - not to mention the fantastic rates.

The facilities

There's not much in the way of facilities here, as the entire focus is on those stylish bedrooms. That said, there is a small lounge area adjoining the breakfast room; a good breakfast spread is provided each morning.

Each of BLC Design Hotel's 29 guestrooms shares the same minimalist palette as the communal areas. All come with flat-screen televisions, complimentary wifi and NightCove bedside sleep systems.
