The Copenhagen Admiral is a contemporary business hotel that's housed in an old warehouse, dating back to the 1780s. It's got a good location near the Nyhaven Canal, with central Copenhagen a short stroll away and the Royal Palace to its 'starboard' side.

The facilities

A decent restaurant, SALT, serves modern European cuisine with a strong Scandinavian influence. The kitchen is happy to cater for special dietary requirements, or low-calorie food, so do feel free to ask. There's an adjoining bar for evening cocktails, and for real night-owls, the Nightclub Nautilus. There's also a sauna and good business facilities, including a choice of meeting rooms.

The rooms

Each of the 366 guest rooms is clean-lined and contemporary, with a nautical edge. Danish teak furniture, original timber beams and Italian floor tiles are some of the luxe touches. All rooms have well-stocked mini bars, internet access and satellite television.
