This is the first venture into the boutique hotel business for the Buddha Bar chain, located in the very heart of Prague near the Old Town Square. It is fantastically styled with darkly polished woods, scarlet wall-hangings and sumptuous fabrics. Incense floats around the communal areas and bedrooms, and the sumptuous hammam and spa has eastern promise by the bucket load.
The rooms
Rooms at the Buddha Bar Hotel are as opulent as the rest. All come with flatscreen televisions, a CD/DVD player and complimentary wifi. Chocolates at turndown and complimentary Nespresso machines are welcome extras. Bathrooms are sybaritic, with rain showerheads in all rooms, and carved stone baths and jacuzzis in the suites.
