The Four Seasons in Limassol is a luxury hotel set on a lovely stretch of sandy beach, a short drive from the city. It has a loyal following, due mostly to the ubiquitous FS polish of great facilities and impeccable service.

The facilities

This is a five star hotel with five star facilities. There are six restaurants in total here: find gourmet Greek cuisine at Mavrommatis, fine Italian in Vivaldi and fresh seafood at Seashells. There's also more laid-back fare at Cafe Tropical freshly baked pastries at the Color Cafe (home-made gelato ice cream - mmm...). Finally, Seasons Oriental is the award-winning Chinese eatery, headed by top HK chef Kenny Keung.

There's plenty of opportunity to work off all of this food though, so no need to overly fret over waistlines. Choose from tennis in the floodlit courts, swimming (both an indoor and outdoor pool on-site) and myriad waterspouts. There's also a Sheisedo Spa for pampering treatments, including the first Thalassotherapy Centre in Cyprus.

The rooms

Each of the Four Season's 304 bedrooms and suites carry a luxe-contemporary style, without losing that home-from-home feel. All rooms either have a Jacuzzi tub and built-in shower, or a walk-in shower and separate bathtub. They all have flat screen televisions, pay-per-view movies, and optional Playstations for teenagers (speak to concierge).
