The facilities
The all-inclusive rates include meals prepared by a private cook as well as all activities, including tennis, kayaking, horseback riding, snorkelling, mountain biking and hiking. Chauffeured electric carts provide easy transport to the beach and around Recreo’s sprawling property, which boasts a fitness centre and steam room and provides spa services upon request.
The villas
Just a few private villas mean that your jungle holiday at Recreo will remain intimate and secluded. Each boasts panoramic views of the Guanacaste Mountains, the Pacific Coast and Bolaños Bay. All the accommodations at Recreo provide creature comforts in a pristine natural setting. Full kitchens are staffed by a private cook and stocked with groceries upon arrival. Plasma screen TVs with DVD players are standard, as are private pools and bathrooms with deep soaking tubs and separate walk-in showers.
