The facilities

The resort is gorgeously indulgent - head to the Thalasso spa for top-to-toe beauty treatments, or take some time out in the gardens, on the golf course or in the outdoor pool. The food is impressive, too - try the seafood specialities. Alternately, many more local and international dishes are served in the luxury hotel's two restaurants and three bars.

Tours and treks around the jungle with local guides are on offer. As well as this, you can watch sea turtles in their natural habitat, and visit the traditional Bahian fishing village sustained by the Ecoresort.

There are 293 air conditioned rooms at Tivoli Ecoresort. Rooms are light, airy and luxurious, with sea facing balconies. Other goodies include cable TV and internet access. Suites have queen or king sized beds, and the Deluxe suite has a Jacuzzi: well worth the extra you'll pay.
