Maruba Resort and Jungle Spa is a romantic retreat in Belize. It blends traditional African, Creole and Mayan therapies with a lushly tropical setting; this is the place to head for utter rest and relaxation. There are myriad ways to explore the surrounding jungle, from horseback riding, to hiking, to riverboat rides.
The facilities
The spa is the star of the show, with a variety of massages and treatments on offer. The most popular is the signature Moon Mud therapies, which can be tailored for couples. There's also a Japanese hot tub, pool, restaurant and bar on-site.
