The White Hotel is, as its name suggests, is a white-on-white confection of a design hotel in central Brussels. It occupies a prime position on Avenue Louise, close to the upmarket Boulevard de Waterloo and Place Stephanie. A whole gamut of trendy restaurants, bars and shopping boutiques are within easy walking distance.

The facilities

Minimal facilities here: the focus is on those design-led bedrooms. There's no restaurant, but a good breakfast spread is provided each morning. Apart from that, there's the stark white lobby, a meeting area and a bar (which doubles up as a lounge), scattered about with trendy furnishings.

The rooms

Plenty of opportunity to wax lyrical here. The White Hotel's 53 bedrooms share the same pared-down aesthetic as the rest of the hotel, with specially-commissioned furniture from Belgian designers, complimentary wifi and private balconies as standard. They are divided into two types: the smaller 'White Rooms' and more spacious 'Superwhite Rooms'. If space is important to you it really is worth booking the latter, which boast floor-to-ceiling windows and fab city-skyline views.
