Schloss Prielau has only eight bedrooms and one suite, decorated with antiques, tiled ovens and wood panelling but has all the modern comfort of an international four star hotel. The castle is situated at the northern end of the lake, just 15 minutes by foot along the lake side away from Zell am See centre. In wintertimes a hotel shuttle will bring you within five minutes to the skiing grounds of Zell am See.

Surrounded by large grounds with ancient trees, this castle feels as if it belongs to a medieval fairy tale. A private beach at the lake, just 200 m away from the castle is provided for hotel guests. A wellness centre with sauna, steambath, caldarium, massage and cosmetics was recently added.
