The Ring is one of the smartest luxury hotels that Vienna has to offer. It has done away with the usual pomp and swagger, opting instead for a blend of casual luxury and five-star comfort and amenities. The result is a urban retreat that feels rather like a home-from-home.

Fashionistas will love the nearby shopping streets, and the major business districts of the city are literally on the doorstep; this is one of the most prestigious addresses in the city. The views across Ringstrasse and the Vienna Opera House are major plus points, too.

The restaurant is well-loved by guests and locals alike. Located on the ground floor, it serves up high-quality International cuisine in a buzzy atmosphere. Better still is the sophisticated bar area, Drings, famed for its extraordinary vodka cocktails. Sip on superb wines or creative and cool cocktail concoctions mixed from the finest spirits.

There's also a chic spa, which offers guests use of a state-of-the-art health club, a steambath and a sauna with a spectacular view over the rooftops of Vienna.

The 68 rooms feature a well-stocked minibar, personalized VIP-business cards and delicious Molton Brown toiletries. The rooms mix contemporary and classical furniture, which mirror the communal areas. Several of the rooms provide guests with an extraordinary view of the famous Viennese Ringstrasse.
