Four Seasons Hotel Sydney 5 Stars

"Enjoy harbour views at this sophisticated Four Seasons, with a grown-up interior, sumptuous suites and brilliantly attentive staff."

The Press Say

"Also in the NSW international hotel club is the Four Seasons on George Street, which outscores the others for room comfort (the bed linen feels like silk) and for its sublime spa, where the native Australian herbal treatments are the best stress-busters in town." Sydney Morning Herald 06

Hotel Overview

Review of Four Seasons Hotel Sydney, by Greg Clarke

When known as the Regent, this 5-star grand dame became a Sydney icon. Now it is the only Australian hotel in the Four Season's stable; completely refurbished in 1999, it was the base for the IOC during the Sydney Olympic Games in 2000. On the southern fringe of the Rocks, much of Sydney's best is by the front door.

The facilities

Should you get lost within the vastness of the lobby, the smiling staff are so attentive, they will no doubt swiftly answer cries for help. The Four Seasons is the only hotel with an outdoor pool in Sydney. There is an adjoining cabana and elsewhere, a café, lounge bar (complete with piano player) and restaurant called Kable's.

Many of the 531 rooms boast harbour views. Standard rooms are smaller compared to other 5-stars in the city and showers are over the baths. In something of a trade off, king s

Many of the 531 rooms boast harbour views. Standard rooms are smaller compared to other 5-stars in the city and showers are over the baths. In something of a trade off, king size beds are standard; as are thick bath robes and over-sized towels. According to Four Seasons folk, every room gets a yearly makeover. Should your great aunt leave you her fortune, there are elaborately furnished, warehouse-size executive suites almost certainly capable of satisfying the most difficult of pop divas.
