1555 Malabia House is a charming boutique hotel in Buenos Aires. It's located in the exclusive Palermo Viejo district, housed in a former convent that dates back to 1886. Palermo Viejo is a trendy, patchworked mix of winding alleyways, plazas and airy green spaces. There's plenty of stuff to do as well, from great little restaurants, a botanical graden, a zoo and a smattering of museums.

The facilities

Minimal facilities, owing to it's small size, 1555 Malabia House does not have a restaurant, but does provide a 24-hour room service menu and a good breakfast spread each morning. There's also a cosy lounge area, garden and library, plus the use of a local gym.

The 15 bedrooms and suites that make up 1555 Malabia House are tastefully appointed, with all mod cons, including flatscreen televisions and complimentary wifi. There's also a nightly turndown servive.
