In the heart of St. Remy de Provence, the small boutique hotel Les Ateliers de l'Image provides a stylish welcome for modern and traditional art fans. The boutique hotel is dedicated to celebrating famous locals Van Gogh and Cezanne through its support of present-day photographers who are inspired by the region’s artistic history.

The facilities

Les Ateliers de l'Image holds regular photography exhibitions in its downstairs gallery. It also operates photography workshops and provides dark rooms and equipment for guests. In recognition of the photography theme, stunning black and white prints adorn the wall space throughout the boutique hotel.

As well as exercising their minds, guests take care of their bodies by enjoying the large sunlit swimming pool; the in-house masseuse and optional weekly yoga classes. As well as this, the boutique hotel has three acres of gardens to explore.

There are two restaurants to choose from at this beautiful boutique hotel: a Provencal restaurant and lounge, and an evening sushi bar for those seeking a break from traditional French fare. A cocktail bar is also in service.

The rooms

Les Ateliers de l'Image has 32 air-conditioned rooms across two historic buildings overlooking a large private garden. Rooms in the boutique hotel are painted white with leaf-green-stained beams and provide guests with satellite TV and room service. Some also have wifi and private hammams.
