Children are welcome to stay at the hotel. They can provide a baby cot in the suite; if you need extra accommodation for older children be sure to request the suite with a sofa bed. There is also a babysitting service, and the hotel restaurant has a kids menu.

Eating in

Bar d'Hotel broke the mold of Rio's lacklustre restaurant scene as it was the city's first contemporary French bistro. Foie gras, fleur de sel and Tarte Tartin feature on the mouth-watering menu. Cafe d'Hotel has fantastic views of Ipanema and serves more speedy meals including gourmet sandwiches, pasta and light risottos.

Getting there

The hotel is at Leblon Beach, with easy access to most local attractions in the Zona Sul. The international airport is approximately a 40-minute drive from the hotel; they can provide airport transfer at an additional cost.
