“A lovely old converted mill, the building still maintains a simple, rustic charm in the heart of the market village of Loumarin.”

Le Moulin de Loumarin is a small boutique hotel at the heart of the village of Loumarin, Provence. This 17th-century century oil mill has been refurbished to create the ultimate stylish retreat for those exploring Provence.

Le Moulin de Loumarin’s decor celebrates of its ancient past as well as its modern standing as a top boutique hotel. Much of the furniture is antique, and the leather-walled, straw-covered-ceiling reception is especially enchanting to guests.

The facilities

The boutique hotel's luxury restaurant ‘le Comptoir d'Edouard’ serves simple and delicious food by head chef Eric Sapet, a former pupil of two Michelin starred Edouard Loubet and well on his way to his own Michelin star. Sapet uses fresh local ingredients, along with wines from the ‘Sélection d'Edouard Loubet’.

Thursdays nights from seven pm are jazz evenings. Live bands play and guests enjoy light cocktail dinners.

The rooms

The Moulin de Lourmarin is one of our best boutique hotels in Provence, with nineteen individually decorated rooms. Each has a stunning view of either the castle, the village or the Luberon Mountains.

Press Quotes

"In Lourmarin, each house is more inventively charming than the last, a peacock rainbow of painted shutters and rose-draped doors." Conde Nast Traveler 06
