The historic Hotel Schloss Fuschl sits on a beautiful peninsula in Lake Fuschl, facing the Alps and surrounded by thirty acres of greenery. This luxury hotel was built around 1450 as a hunting lodge and summer residence for the Archbishop of Salzburg. Prince Archbishop Paris Count Lodron - under whose reign Hotel Schloss Fuschl saw the greatest glory in its history - held a spectacular hunt here in June 1624.

The facilities

In 1977 the property was transformed into a luxury hotel with elegant accommodations, modern amenities including extensive meeting and conference facilities, and a health and beauty spa.
