Press Quotes

Each of the individually designed rooms was inspired by the 60s and 70s, but don't expect brown swirly carpets and textured wallpaper. While the lobby is as shocking as pink gets, the rooms feature smooth wooden flooring, muted tones, Philippe Starck Eros chairs and retro TV sets." The Independent 06

“Where space-age futurism meets colourful bubblegum kitsch, this funky boutique hotel attracts a young, fun-fuelled crowd.”

25 Hours is a design hotel, located in the western business district of Hamburg. Throughout 25 Hours, the streamlined, simple furniture is accented by candy-coloured pillows and carpeting. The funky metropolitan look harks back to mod designs of the 1960s, but mercifully leaves out the polyester prints and shag carpeting. The design here is uniform, but from room to room spontaneous colour combinations and creative lighting liven up the efficiency of furniture and space. The design hotel has excellent value room rates for its high quality of atmosphere and service.

The facilities

Frequented by business clientele, 25 Hours features a conference room which can comfortably accommodate 60 people. There is also free internet access in all the rooms. Near the conference room, a convenient lounge area and bar provide respite from a long day of meetings. Just through the lobby, 25 Hours’ restaurant serves up German-Italian fusion fare. The design hotel also provides a fitness room.

The rooms

25 Hours offers 97 rooms, plus 5 medium studios and 2 large studios. Rooms balance muted tones and sparse furniture with contemporary accessories like quirky art and fringe curtains. Almost all the rooms have been individual designed complete with a private bathroom, cable TV and telephone.
