"Reached only by cable-car, this mountain peak eco-resort benefits from a fresh, organic design and panoramic views over the Alps."

Vigilius Mountain Resort is an eco-friendly boutique hotel set 1,500 meters above everyday life in the mountains of Italy. Here it is possible to regain a clear view of oneself, a renewed vision of life. There is no traffic noise, no rushed business meetings, no arrivals nor departures by car. The arrival, exclusively by cable car, is part of Vigilius’ overall nature concept. The air is laden with calm, tranquil thoughts and invigorated by the scent of the larch woods.

The facilities

The Vigilius' interior is defined through clean lines and clear forms. There is nothing obtrusive or rigid. Spacious ambience guides the way to tranquility and harmony. Natural materials, pleasant colours and soft textiles create an unmistakable atmosphere of cosiness and well-being.

Guests may float in an endless pool with an infinite view of the South Tyrolean mountains. The boutique hotel also offers spa treatments including a fir cone foot reflex-massage and a cold water Kneipp bath in marvelous mountain air. The extensive treatments of the Vigilius Mountain Resort Spa are rooted in the rich resources of the Alpine environment. The sports team is available for personal tailored programs of paragliding, archery, hiking, mountain biking, yoga, skiing and snow shoeing.

Blessed to be situated in South Tyrol, the cuisine is evocative of the areas two cultures, Alpine and Italian. Vigilius’ restaurant, The Stube, offers delicious local food specialties, whereas the purist environment of the restaurant called '1.500' on the first floor features a Mediterranean style menu. Additionally, guests may enjoy The Wine Cellar as an intimate place to relax and sample the vast collection of wines and local cheeses

The rooms

The boutique hotel features 35 rooms and 6 suites, all of which offer an additional place to relax and enjoy the solitude of being in the mountains of Italy. Rooms on the second floor boast the most spectacular views of the South Tyrolean mountains, but all rooms provide a refreshing and pleasant stay.
