"Gourmet dining and fine wines attracts guests to this comfortable Victorian mansion turned luxury hotel in Hambleton."

Hambleton Hall is a boutique hotel in Leicester, known for its no-nonsense approach to providing a great country house experience. The service is top notch and the views of the green surrounding area are stunning. The boutique hotel overlooks Rutland Water, a gorgeous stretch of water that’s Europe’s largest manmade lake.

The facilities

Be sure to have a meal at the boutique hotel restaurant, as Michelin-starred chef Aaron Patterson serves up locally-sourced, seasonal produce to excellent standards. Dine on roast guinea fowl, or have a vegetarian omelette with wild mushrooms picked fresh that day.

The rooms

Hambleton Hall has 17 rooms and suites, all individually named and decorated in unashamedly chintzy prints. Beds are king sized and comfortable, furniture is tasteful period and there isn’t a TV or DVD player in sight.
