Who stays here

It's fun, informal and young-at-heart; it's popular with a Primrose Hill-type media clientele, including Sadie Frost.

Come for

  • The four self-contained family suites (book early)
  • The beaches at Rock; surfing at Polzeath
  • Outdoor heated swimming pool, billiards, children's playrooms

Not suitable for

  • The indecisive; procrastinators - book early to have a hope of getting in

Children

The St Enodoc Hotel is very family-friendly. They have a kid's tea in the early evening and children are also welcome to eat in the dining room later on. The hotel restaurant will provide a party pack for kids. They have a babysitting service as well as a play room. Extra beds can fit in the larger rooms and the suites have bunk beds for larger families.

Eating in

Great views and top-notch local produce in the restaurant, which recently earned a second AA rosette.

Press Quotes

"Over the Camel estuary at Rock (the summer holiday spot of choice for posh teens) is the St Enodoc Hotel. It has 16 light, airy rooms and four family suites, a heated swimming pool and al fresco dining on the restaurant terrace with views, of course, over to Padstow. The small beach at Rock ideal for children and surfers head to nearby Polzeath." The Independent 05

"Bright, fresh and chic, this wonderful seaside bolthole is made for stylish couples, and is noteworthy for its family facilities.”
