Press Quotes

"Pandhotel is gorgeous with a whiff of the funkadelic about it. Cool and sophisticated, it's also wonderfully old-fashioned." Tatler 06

"This family run boutique hotel, formerly an 18th-century carriage house, is both elegant and eclectic and located very close to the Markt."

Pandhotel, a converted 18th-century private mansion, is a delightful getaway with all of the services of a luxury hotel, and the intimacy and attentiveness of a small boutique hotel. Just minutes away from beautiful canals, the hotel is a haven of peace and quiet in the center of the city. Family-owned and operated by Chris and Lyne Vanhaecke, the hotel is a showcase for the owners’ love of antiques and artwork. Charming and full of character, this boutique hotel is the perfect retreat.

The facilities

A lush pine panelled library is available for quests to delve into one of the boutique hotel’s many old books and relax by the open fire. The mahogany-furnished hotel bar, complete with a leather Chesterfield armchair, has a lighting design by Jacques Garcia to create a cosy, nostalgic atmosphere. And who could resist a champagne breakfast? A most luxurious affair, breakfast is served upon white linen table cloths with embroidered napkins and silver teapots. For ultimate relaxation, enjoy the inner garden and fountain on the patio or pamper yourself with a massage treatment or a trip to the hotel sauna.

The rooms

Each of the boutique hotel’s 26 bedrooms has been individually decorated. Elegant marble bathrooms and beautiful views are among the guestroom characteristics that leave guests satisfied with their boutique hotel experience. Guests in the Junior Suites will enjoy Annick Goutal beauty products, canopy beds and a Jacuzzi.
