Eating in

The award-winning Equilibrium Restaurant attracts residents and non-residents alike. Bess's is an informal bistro serving light meals through the day.

Press Quotes

"Now this is what a hall should be. I stare in awe at the lofty vaulted ceiling, the rows of tall windows set high in the pale stone walls...Built of warm-coloured local ironstone, the Great Hall has been trendily decorated, with pale, limed panelling and floorboards and huge sofas with stone-coloured upholstery." The Telegraph 06

"An unapologetically traditional Tudor country house, handsome and relaxed, set in beautiful grounds and rolling Northamptonshire countryside."

Set in the heart of the Northamptonshire countryside close to Daventry, Fawsley Hall is a luxury hotel surrounded by 300 acres of grounds and lakes landscaped by Capability Brown in 1763. This is an original Tudor manor house, and its breathtaking vaulted main hall is considered the heart of the hotel. Over the years, sensitively designed Georgian and Victorian additions have been made to the property, adding to the overall grandeur. Inside, Fawsley Hall's decor combines contemporary luxury with period elegance.

The facilities

This luxury hotel is great for functions like birthday parties and weddings because of its amazing architecture and great meeting rooms. Non-function guests looking for a quieter break can request to stay at different times if they wish.

Fawsley Hall’s main restaurant, Equilibrium, has a good reputation for its experimental British menu. The fireplace is huge, taking up all of one wall, so be sure to nab a seat here for a toasty winter meal. If you want a more informal meal, go to Bess’s Brasserie for light dishes and snacks. For a cocktail, head to the luxury hotel’s Old Laundry Bar that flanks the courtyard.

On the other hand, If you fancy a rejuvenating experience, either relax at the luxury hotel’s spa or get active at its gym and tennis court. You could even stop by the hair salon and leave with a new look!

The rooms

Fawsley Hall has 52 rooms, all individually decorated, some kitted out with top quality antique furniture. Guests love the super-sumptuous rooms in the Georgian wing, and the 1575 suite is coveted for its royal connections – it is named after the year Elizabeth I slept there.

Traditional Elizabethan rooms at the luxury hotel are plush, lush and stuffed with rich fabrics, dark wood furniture and lots of original features like fireplaces. Other rooms have a more relaxed, country house chic feel, and the newest suites in Knightly Court are minimalist marvels. Come to Fawsley Hall for opulence or modern convenience: they cater very well for both.
