't hotel is located on one of the most beautiful canals in Amsterdam, the tree-lined Leliegracht, a narrower, quieter canal lined by quirky boutiques and cafes. Renovated from a traditional 17th-century building a few years ago, 't hotel (pronounced 'ut' hotel) is a budget boutique hotel with only eight rooms.
The facilities
The ground floor of 't hotel houses the owner’s antique shop which doubles as reception. 't hotel is right in the centre of Amsterdam, within easy walking distance from Dam Square, the Anne Frank House and the Jordaan. Guests are given a key to the door on arrival so they can come and go as they please, taking advantage of all that Amsterdam has to offer.
The rooms
The eight rooms, three with views of the canal, the rest overlooking the gardens or rooftops at the back, are simple with white bedlinen and white tiled bath or shower rooms. Decor is modestly modern. The basement breakfast room is light and airy and serves a buffet breakfast.
