The Hotel Il Piccolo di Piazza di Spagna is a good choice for people who can’t quite stretch to a four star budget but who are looking for character and excellent location.
The facilities
Hotel is family friendly with triple rooms available for families. The amazing views and great location are really what make this hotel. Décor is basic – cheap wood flooring, small TVs, sponged walls and basic bathrooms.
The rooms
A delightful little hotel of just 11 rooms, each named after an Italian cultural worthy. Try and book early, for just three rooms have lovely terraces with quiet rooftop views. Giotto is the best, with its bright bathroom, Jacuzzi bath and position furthest from the road; Michaelangelo a close second. Some other rooms have only showers. Those unfortunate enough not to have a terrace are served breakfast in the corridor.
