Press Quotes

“This is a monumental landmark and the former home base of Cesar Ritz. The main lobby is stately and elegant, one of the grandest in Lucerne. The predictably varied bedrooms are among the most comfortable and luxurious in the city, with thick carpets and old-fashioned charm, often with a four-poster canopied bed.” NY Times 07

"The best hotel in Lucerne for atmosphere, views and service - this is Cesar Ritz's first luxury hotel and an institution in Switzerland."

Currently they have ninety-five rooms and suites for rent - the figure varies depending on how many long term residents booked. The rooms are light and elegant, with well-made retro furniture in cherry wood. Ceilings are high with grand paneled doors, of which give the rooms a feeling of classic solidity within this five-star hotel. Most rooms have balconies large enough to take breakfast on with views of the lake. The walls are decorated with original and well chosen art. Of the four floors in this luxury hotel (three to six), the third and fourth have recently been renovated in French Empire style, with marble floors, chandeliers, exquisite rugs, brass bedsteads and handmade silk paneled walls.
